【DX design hub】'Urban Yarns' Exhibition Opening Talk: Knitting Impression

Calling all knitting enthusiasts! The brand-new exhibition ‘Urban Yarns’ at DX design hub is opening this Friday (12 Sep)! Starting with a single thread, this exhibition aims to connect Hong Kong's history, culture, and craftsmanship through a delicate and heartfelt approach. It reinterprets this legacy for the modern era, using design as a bridge to thread past and present.

Betty Wong, curator of this exhibition, from the Laws Knitters Studio, will guide us through the technical elements and characteristics of knitwear design. Through the exhibits, you will rediscover the design aesthetics embedded in Hong Kong and learn how knitting craftsmanship can create a rich variety of textures, patterns, and designs to meet diverse aesthetic needs.
