HKDC is now inviting interested parties to submit proposals for providing Construction and production supervision and management services for Greater Bay Area programme 2026/2027 at Hong Kong Design Centre’s DX design hub 1/f (The Gallery).

The programme aims to build on the strength of Hong Kong’s cultural DNA of “East meets West” and HKDC’s over 20+ years of experience with established branded programmes such as Business of Design Week, Design for Asia and Fashion Asia. Through exploration, engagement, exchanges, exposition, the progarmme’s goal is the enablement of Hong Kong’s design industry in playing key roles the in GBA- as a value-enhancing super connector linking design with manufacturing, marketing and trade not only within the ultra-competitive, fast-changing and high-volume region, but also with other diverse cultures internationally. The programme also envisages connections to be made with stakeholders in the region at different levels, including policy makers, industry, institution, from design masters to future generations of designers.

HKDC is now inviting interested parties to submit proposals for Creative Concept, Design and Production Service for DFA Awards Exhibition @ HKTDC DesignInspire 2026, which will be held on 18-21 November 2026.

The company shall provide the highest possible level of service in this Request for Proposal and Quotation and manage the process and implementation, while following the organiser’s guidelines and policies.

The DFA Awards Pavilion should feature an open design that encourages interaction and accessibility, promoting a welcoming atmosphere. The focus of the pavilion should be the DFA Awards Exhibition so the design should aim at displaying the distinguished work of awardees in a refreshing style. Along with the DFA Awards exhibition, a separate area will be reserved as an education corner, for our partners to organise workshops for students and visitors to promote design thinking with an interactive approach.

The Service Provider is mainly required to:

- Provide creative concept and ideas for the overall design for the DFA Awards Pavilion, which includes the sections of the seven awards of the DFA Awards exhibition and an Education Corner. The Service Provider will be required to incorporate HKDC’s suggestions into the design and obtain HKDC’s approval on the final creative proposal

- Liaise with the DFA Awards team for design and production logistics and the organiser for logistics issue. Additional order or special request from HKDI may be required upon request

- Provide graphic design and artwork files for production, set up, dismantling services for the exhibition according to the layout and design approved by HKDC.

Operated by the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), the DX design hub serves as a vibrant nucleus for creativity, dedicated to nurturing emerging design talents and fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration. HKDC is now inviting proposals from experienced service providers for the comprehensive event management of 'Vividly Hong Kong', a prestigious evening celebrating a milestone moment for Hong Kong’s design scene.  With the aim of creating an unforgettable and seamlessly executed experience, the event will include an outdoor stage on Tung Chau Street with coordinated road closure arrangements, Roadshow product displays, and live performances (including an opening dance performance and a Fashion Talent Showcase). The service provider will play an instrumental role in orchestrating these elements and implementing a multi-floor live streaming strategy to ensure all guests throughout the venue can witness the ceremonies, thereby maximizing local and international exposure for these cornerstone events. HKDC will provide resource support to the selected service provider to further promote the growth of the design community.
