This summer, DX design hub unveils a brand-new spatial concept themed "DX Summer: Dive Into A Crazy Water World." Candy-coloured coral and jellyfish installations fill every corner of the venue, conjuring a vibrant yet refreshingly cool ocean atmosphere that delivers an immersive summer experience for every visitor.

Running from now until 31 August, the programme features a brand-new digital interactive experience. Visitors simply scan the on-site QR code to open the "Deep Sea Discovery" webpage and embark on a mission, hunting for hidden QR codes scattered throughout the venue's ocean-themed installations. By "capturing" the marine creatures they discover one by one, participants can then spin the on-site capsule toy machine for a surprise gift.

To welcome the summer holidays, DX design hub also launches a series of creative hands-on workshops themed around the ocean, spanning paper art hanging ornaments, glass dome night lights, bubble mirrors, sea glass painting, intangible cultural heritage cloisonné enamelling, UV resin modelling, and coral-patterned leather bolo ties. The line-up also includes local intangible cultural heritage workshops on bamboo weaving and palm-leaf fan making, offering parents and children an ideal way to bond and cool off together this summer.

Design disciplines may appear worlds apart, from graphic design to fashion and product design, each speaking its own professional language. Yet at their core, they all pursue the same goal: using design to evoke distinctive emotions and sensations within the people who experience it.

This season's spatial transformation at DX design hub is, in essence, a sensory experiment. Through candy-bright hues, shimmering light and fantastical installations, we have reimagined the space as an untamed underwater world. We hope that as visitors step inside, they will not only feel visually transported to the deep sea, but also experience, through the atmosphere of the space itself, a genuine cooling of both body and mind.
