Situated at the DX design hub, adjacent to one of Central Kowloon's key infrastructural bridges—the West Kowloon Corridor—"Design to Bridge" takes its conceptual cue directly from its urban context. The bridge is not only a physical structure but a powerful metaphor for connection, transition, and exchange; it links places, people, and flows—much like design itself. This exhibition positions design as a strategic bridge aimed at connecting cultural heritage with future-facing innovation, facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration, and translating ideas, materials, and sensory inputs into meaningful experiences, while also reflecting the DX design hub's role as a platform bridging creative talent, industry, and society.

To embody this vision, our curated selection of studios showcases diverse dimensions of connection: Noodo Lab bridges sustainability and aesthetics by exploring the hidden potential of daily waste materials. Through exquisite concrete craftsmanship, Concretology and MOSOSISI bridge architectural aesthetics with street culture, and urban architecture with emotional memory, respectively, reinterpreting and preserving Hong Kong's symbolic memories and disappearing historical cityscapes. In the realm of technology and sensory experience, Ink & The City bridges urban landscapes and interactive technology; Xiangyun Audio bridges auditory technology and emotional resonance through spatial soundscapes; and the joint effort by BeCandle, Hong Kong Incense Company, and Xuelei Fragrance Museum bridges olfactory senses and local memory with modern fragrance-making techniques, collectively creating an immersive and deeply resonant multi-sensory journey for all visitors.
