Asian living culture exudes a unique charm with its rich history and diversity. ‘Tea’ plays a significant role in the culinary traditions across various regions. The design of every tea utensil, from the choice of materials to the artistry of packaging, tells a story of life, conveying cultural meaning and philosophy.
In upcoming Design Dialogue, Chairman of Hong Kong Tea Association and Principal of Hong Kong Tea Academy, Wing-chi Ip, will engage in an in-depth conversation with curators Freeman Lau and Charles Lai. From tea selection to savouring, from ambiance of tea-serving space to design of tea utensils, let us explore how Asian tea culture elevates the connection between culture and emotion in everyday life.
