Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Programme Director(s) in taking up the planning, implementation and delivery of exhibitions organised by HKDC or partner organisations.

  1. Develop, organise and manage the overall planning and execution of DX design hub programme including budgetary planning and control, timely delivery of overall project and timely reporting, compliance with corporate governance policies, assessment of outcomes and impact of the related activities;
  2. Working closely with curator teams to coordinate, plan and manage the exhibition and events;
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationship with local, GBA and overseas partners;
  4. Identify potential collaborators/partners for organising exhibitions and events;
  5. Content development for workshops and related activities;
  6. Provide onsite support and management for exhibition and/or design related programmes;
  7. Assist on overall programme planning, developing and arranging documentations and papers for HKDC internal senior management meeting;
  8. Support associate directors and/or directors to ensure timely delivery of overall project, raising any issues, potential risks and suggestions for more effective project management where appropriate.

 

Requirements:

  1. University graduate with minimum 8 years relevant experience; with at least 3-5 years' experience in a team leadership role with good coaching skills;
  2. Experience in organising or curation of exhibitions and programme; working experience in the design, art or cultural field would be an advantage;
  3. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  4. Good understanding on the design trend with board and diverse range of cultural interests;
  5. Ability to work independently and under pressure in meeting deadlines;
  6. Experience in problem-solving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and be highly self-motivated and multi-tasking;
  7. Excellent communicator with proactive interpersonal and networking skills;
  8. Strategic thinking with creative flair;
  9. Ownership, accountability, committed and with passion for design industry;
  10. Willing to work flexible shift hours and day, include Sat/Sun and Public Holiday
