Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. Responsibilities:

  1. Manager routine operation of the exhibition, events and docent tour;
  2. Handle logistic and provide administrative support for exhibition, events and docent tour;
  3. Manager photo/video shooting for exhibition and events;
  4. Execute and support for the implementation of marketing and promotion plan for the programme and/or projects;
  5. Digital outreach like social media, website management and updates on programme promotion;
  6. Assist in planning and organisation of video production for archive;
  7. Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties on daily operation and marketing implementation;
  8. Provide onsite support and management for exhibition and/or design related programme

 

Requirements:

  1. University graduate with min. 4 years relevant experience;
  2. Experience in organising or curation of exhibitions and programme; working experience in the design, art or cultural field would be an advantage;
  3. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  4. Customer-oriented, outgoing, friendly and courteous;
  5. Demonstration of strong interest in promoting design thinking, design knowledge and design industry;
  6. Proactive, detail-minded, responsible, adaptable and resourceful self-starter with tactful communication and interpersonal skills to working among diverse communities;
  7. Willing to work flexible shift hours and day, include Sat/Sun and Public Holidays
