The Roles:
- Work closely with members of the exhibition team and curators to manage routine operations of the exhibitions, events and docent tour;
- Handle logistics and provide administrative support for exhibitions, events and docent tours;
- Manage recording, such as photo/video shooting, and data collection, such as visitor questionnaires, for exhibitions, events and docents;
- Execute and support the implementation of marketing and promotion plans for programmes and projects;
- Assist in planning and organisation of archive materials, such as video production and virtual exhibitions;
- Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties on daily operation and marketing implementation of marketing activities;
- Execute and support digital outreach, such as social media, website management and updates on programme promotion; and
- Provide on-site support and management for exhibitions and/or design-related programmes
Requirements:
- University graduate or above;
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in organising or curation of exhibitions and programmes. Working experience in the design, art or cultural field would be an advantage;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Customer-oriented, outgoing, friendly and courteous, with a strong sense of marketing and design-related trends;
- Demonstration of strong interest in promoting design thinking, design knowledge and the design industry;
- Proactive, detail-minded, responsible, adaptable and resourceful self-starter with tactful communication and interpersonal skills to work among diverse communities;
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and the ability to integrate AI input into the workflow are advantages;
- Willing to work flexible shift hours and days, including Sat/Sun and Public Holidays.
