Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organise, execute and deliver HKDC programmes (includes community and public design driven activation/engagement activities) and other special projects on time and within budget, with particular focus on design elements of the programme;
- Proactively and effectively research, reach out, liaise and coordinate with local/overseas design organisations, partners, collaborators and community stakeholders, with particular focus on design elements of the programme;
- Design and coordinate the production and installation of all promotional materials and activities with related parties as well as on-site decoration at partner venues;
- Assist in handling logistics and provide administrative support, in accordance to company policies and procedures, for efficient project and event management;
- Assist in digital outreach like social media and website content management on programme promotion;
- Assist in the liaison and coordination with both internal and external parties on daily operations;
- Attend and assist in the activities and events related to the programme by request; and
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- University degree or above or equivalent in design, cultural management, event/ exhibition management, marketing, government relations are preferred;
- 4 years’ relevant experience work experience in programmes related to design, arts and cultural education, brand development, event & exhibition, and/or government relations is an advantage;
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin);
- Bring a balanced approach with conceptual and practical understanding of design thinking process and the role of design activation and intervention projects for the benefit of different stakeholders and general public;
- Proactive, detail-minded, responsible, adaptable and resourceful self-starter with tactful communication and interpersonal skills to work among diverse stakeholders; and
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and ability to integrate AI input into workflow is an advantage.
