Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing management and financial reports, annual budgeting and financial analysis;
Handle the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts, including month-end and year-end closing processes;
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other professionals for project audits and regulatory compliance;
Assist with the setup and implementation of new accounting systems;
5. Perform ad-hoc projects and other assignments as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field;
2. Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience;
3. Experience working within non-profit organisations (NGOs) is highly preferred;
4. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);
5. Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel and Word skills;
6. Hands-on experience with accounting software (knowledge of SunSystems is a plus);
7. Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines;
8. High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail;
9. Self-motivated, collaborative, and strong communicator.
