Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Logistics & Execution: Provide on-the-ground support for all hub events and programmes, including equipment setup and breakdown, signage coordination, material preparation, guest registration, and real-time assistance during events to ensure smooth delivery.

  2. Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for vendors and suppliers on event days; direct them efficiently and ensure they have the necessary access, information, and support to deliver their services.

  3. Visitor Experience & Community Engagement: Help deliver a warm, welcoming, and informative environment for visitors and members. Support community engagement initiatives, assist with visitor flow and enquiries, and contribute to enhancing the overall visitor journey and service standards.

  6. Safety, Maintenance & Compliance: Conduct regular checks to ensure the hub remains clean, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. Promptly report maintenance issues, technical faults, or safety hazards to the Senior Project Executive.

  7. Technical & Equipment Support: Assist with the setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of audiovisual (AV) and other technical equipment under supervision.

  8. Team Collaboration & Ad-hoc Duties: Work closely with the Senior Project Executive, Manager, and wider team on a range of operational, events, and community projects.

  9. Take on additional ad-hoc tasks and projects as required to support the smooth running of the hub.

Requirements:

  1. A recognised degree graduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.

  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing, operational, or event support role. A passion for the design, arts, or cultural sector is a strong advantage.

  3. Fluent in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) with excellent verbal and written proficiency in both languages.

  4. Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

  5. A proactive and hands-on approach, with a willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.

  6. A strong communicator and natural relationship-builder, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

  7. Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  8. Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

  9. Flexibility to work 5 days on shift duty at the DX design hub, including weekends and public holidays.

  10. Hands-on role requiring on-site presence during exhibitions and events.
