The Roles:

  1. Act as the primary operational lead for the project under the supervision of the Senior Manager.

  2. Responsible for overall project delivery, including execution, administrative compliance, budget tracking, and timeline management.

  3. Lead exhibition and event management, including end-to-end planning, on-site operations, and coordination of setup and dismantling to ensure smooth execution.

  4. Develop and implement PR and marketing strategies for fashion exhibitions, including media relations, promotional campaigns, and stakeholder engagement to maximize visibility and attendance.

  5. Liaise with internal HKDC departments and external international stakeholders.

  6. Oversee vendor management, contract fulfilment, and administrative processes, including VIP guest list preparation and reporting workflows.

  7. Act as the key liaison for participating designers, managing day-to-day communications, coordinating requirements, and ensuring timely submission of assets and alignment with project objectives.

  8. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree or above.

  2. Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in marketing or event planning, preferably within the cultural or fashion-related industries.

  3. Outstanding command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  4. Proactive and resourceful team player with strong interpersonal and tactful communication skills, adept at engaging diverse communities, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

  5. Responsible and detail-minded self-starter with good problem-solving skills.

  6. Culturally sensitive with a keen awareness of emerging trends, social movements, and technological developments shaping the creative and fashion industries.

  7. Good knowledge of global fashion communities, industry events, and key players; stays updated on fashion trends.

  8. Interested in supporting the fashion industry and cultural exchange, with an understanding of Hong Kong and international fashion scenes. 

  9. Adaptable and agile in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with a continuous learning attitude and openness to innovation.
