Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the daily administration and operation of nurturing programmes, including handling communications, logistics, reimbursement exercises, documentation/ filing, and record-keeping.
  2. Coordinate events, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and manage related documentation to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with governance and administrative requirements.
  3. Monitor work progress, track programme implementation, and support the preparation of reports, outcome analysis, and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Assist in recording and maintaining accurate and comprehensive financial and administrative records, including Designpreneurs’ profiles, progress reports, event archives, and filing systems for the programme.
  5. Support the coordination, and execution of marketing and PR initiatives, including programme website updates, social media content, eDMs, and promotional materials to ensure consistent and effective communications.
  6. Conduct research and support for programme-related activities.
  7. Work closely with professional service providers and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders.
  8. Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

  1. University degree or above or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant work experience in administration, accounting, hospitality or business management.
  3. Background in business development, entrepreneurship, or design-related industry would be beneficial.
  4. Strong verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese.
  5. A good team player with strong numeric sense, meticulous eye for details and responsible.
  6. Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines effectively.
  8. Proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, and resourceful self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  9. Proficient in MS Office application and Chinese Word Processing.
