HONG KONG About WHYWHY is Y, initial of my name, Yan. WHY is 歪, awry in Cantonese, the spirit and aesthetic of my design. I believe clothing is a way to explore the spirit of person. It shows personality, emotions and spirit of wearer. That’s WHY we are designing for the woman who is different and unique, who desires to be different and unique. To embrace the spirit of WHY, we use contradicted construction silhouette, contrast material and colour combinations. Our clothing is born to explore different phenomenons and emotions around our life, delivering the message of what we have discovered in our journey. This is WHY I make clothes.
