Hong Kong Design Centre

The HKDI is a leading and the largest design institution in Hong Kong. Established in 2007 after the careful and deliberate consolidation of existing design offerings from the IVE, the HKDI now occupies a state-of-the-art campus in Tiu Keng Leng. Programmes offered span across areas of foundation studies, communication design and digital media, fashion and image design and product and interior design.

HKDI is committed to providing quality education to cultivate knowledge and professionalism in the new talents for the evolving creative industries. The “think and do” approach is adapted through contemporary curriculum and active collaborations with industry. HKDI emphasises teaching and learning experiences that provide first-hand knowledge and encourage active participation. In maintaining relevance today, the HKDI is nurturing a young generation who will help shape the design landscape of tomorrow.
