Atelier J-AR is a Hong Kong based research & design coalition gravitated to explorations in the "juxta-architectural" fields. It drills on ambiguous matters that pertain to but yet to be widely comprehended as architecture in the contemporary context. Through investigating, creating & handling phenomenal relationships among man-made tangibles (objects & environments) and the behaviors of people that fall near to, alongside or close to them through a wide range of juxta-architectural media, including spatial realizations, installations, crafts, visuals, films, situations and architecture itself, it seeks for creating environments that would rejuvenate a closer relationship among the dwellers as well as the habitats, not only informationally, but also physically, socially and spiritually.
