Supporting Event - HKDI inspire* 2023: Towards a Sustainable Design
Design is an important driver of innovation, creation, production, consumption and transformation towards a sustainable world. Organised by Hong Kong Design Institute, a series of hybrid master lectures under the theme of “Towards a Sustainable Design” will be held from 3 to 5 May 2023, focusing on sustainability and its relation to design along with sustainable aspects of design-related methods, practices, and theories. It will offer you a better understanding of the future options of design towards a sustainable culture, environment, economy and society. Concurrently, Waste Age: What Can Design Do? Exhibition is in place to present the environmental crisis caused by waste and design’s role in the problem.
