Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. The Roles:

  1. Work closely with Programme Director and Senior Manager in the content development for Fashion Asia;
  2. Supervise the editorial section of all Fashion Asia events, ensuring the timely delivery of content aligned with the comprehensive digital marketing strategy;
  3. Brainstorm and implement creative content generation initiatives to enhance the brand and raise awareness of our events. Oversee content editing, research, and content curation;
  4. Create comprehensive briefs, project plans, content curation research and write-ups. Manage the team to execute and distribute top-quality creative content;
  5. Generate monthly/quarterly reports and presentations on ongoing or completed initiatives, providing valuable insights and lessons learned that can inform future decision-making for the steering committee and executive leadership;
  6. Liaise with programme partners, sponsors, consultants, internal teams and agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes;
  7. Work with internal teams to develop and maintain PR & marketing materials; provide support for marketing communications, public relations and marketing promotions to expand our reach and impact;
  8. Thoroughly proofread and refine copywriting work, and handle any additional unexpected duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. University degree or above;
  2. Minimum 8 years post-graduation work experience with at least 3 years in content editing and research experience in fashion or luxury industry;
  3. Excellent verbal and written skills in both English & Chinese (including Mandarin). The ability to write eloquently is required;
  4. Strong editing and project management skills with experience in digital marketing and social media is an advantage;
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and able to meet tight deadline;
  6. Excellent communicator with strong level of attention to detail and ability to ensure consistently high quality delivery of projects and initiatives;
  7. Good sensibility to fashion design, business development and trends is preferred;
  8. Hunger to learn from others and pick up new tasks and skills along the way; ability to absorb feedback and make it actionable;
  9. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
