About Hong Kong Design Centre

Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. We are on a public mission to promote wider and strategic use of design and design thinking to foster innovation, create business value and improve societal well-being.

Job Duties: 

  1. Data / physical design product handling;
  2. DFA Awards pre-judging logistics;
  3. Judging: set up and dismantle with physical move-in/out of the materials from office / warehouse to the judging venue; act as docent to present the projects to judges;
  4. Awards entrant liaison; &
  5. Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Year 1, 2 or 3 students, preferably in studying Design or Marketing or Business Management;
  2. Good command of Cantonese, English & Mandarin;
  3. Knowledgeable in other language is a plus;
  4. Responsible, logically thinking and with good manners;
  5. Sensible and knowledge in Design, Art & Culture; &
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and versatility in social media.

Employment Details:

  1. Not over 59 days 
  2. Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
