Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as a centre of design excellence in Asia. Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Fashion Business, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on event coordination, project management, or operations in the creative, fashion, luxury, or cultural industries.
  3. Experience working on multi-stakeholder events or programmes; exposure to flagship festivals, arts events, or fashion-related projects is an advantage.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Clear and professional written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
  6. Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Comfortable working across diverse teams, cultures, and organisational hierarchies.
  8. Proactive problem-solver with a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure.
  9. Proficient in project management tools, communication platforms, and standard office software (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion, Airtable, or equivalent).
  10. Ability to produce clear, accurate written content including minutes, trackers, briefings, and coordination documents.

 

Appointment will be on a 1-year fixed term contract.  Renewal of contract should be subject to operational needs and performance.
