Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and Senior Manager of Events & Marketing team to develop and maintain a compelling visual identity for HKDC's annual flagship programme, Business of Design Week (BODW), and its affiliated programme, bodw Future Lab, and its digital design knowledge platform, bodw+.
Execute creative concepts and produce high-quality graphic design materials across digital and print mediums, including marketing collateral, digital assets, and multimedia content.
Support event management and onsite logistics for BODW and related programmes, including coordination with external vendors and internal teams on event-related design and production needs.
Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute branding and promotion campaigns that effectively communicate the value of design and innovation to diverse audiences.
Manage design projects from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and brand consistency are met.
Perform ad hoc duties and other assignments as required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above; qualifications in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in the design field or creative production (experience in event coordination and support is an advantage). Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Project Assistant.
Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is an advantage.
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools for rapid ideation and prototyping is a plus.
Strong sense of creativity, aesthetics, and typography with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong creative concept development and presentation skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Immediate availability is preferred.
