The Roles:

  1. Be part of the enterprising team to deliver large-scale public events with public interventions from concepts through to implementation in particular on artists and government liaison, pre & post event management, on-site logistics and floor management, public activation and design promotion;
  2. Lead the project team and work closely with the execution team and marketing team to implement and deliver the planned programme, event activities, media and promotion activities of the event;
  3. Handle all project related project management and administration works such as TPPE applications, venue applications, consultation with government departments, obtain necessary license, certificates and reports, etc.;
  4. Pitch and liaise for partnership and sponsorship to maximise impact and awareness of the event;
  5. Establish and maintain strong effective communication internally and externally with the funder, project partners, communities stakeholders, etc.;
  6. Undertake effective project management throughout the project period to ensure successful delivery of the event, including budgetary and timeline control, timely reporting, compliance with corporate governance policies, assessment of outcomes and impact of the related activities;
  7. Write up reports, records, presentations etc.;
  8. Perform other ad hoc assignments as required.

  Requirements:

  1. University degree or above or equivalent in event management, cultural management, design, public art, public relations or related disciplines;
  2. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial capacity in the field of event management, cultural management, design, public art, etc. ideally with a diverse sector / discipline experience;
  3. Candidate with 10 years or above relevant experience will be qualified as Senior Project Manager;
  4. Good understanding on public event and artist collaboration;
  5. Business acumen with strong organising, coordinating and problem-solving skills;
  6. Experiences in large-scale outdoor and/or community-driven and/or design, arts & cultural activities is highly preferable;
  7. Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin);
  8. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills;
  9. Ownership, accountability and committed;
  10. Well-organised and detail-oriented
  11. Outgoing with passion for design industry and community engagement
  12. An appreciation for style and well presented
