Supporting Event - "HKDI Inspire: Design Thinking 2018" Opening cum CreativeKids "SmART City by Children" Showcase and Sharing

As a leading Design education institution, HKDI endeavours to advance the application of Design Thinking as a transferable skill for solving problems of all kinds, hence rolling out an initiative entitled “HKDI Inspire: Design Thinking 2018” which includes a series of activities that engage the general public, in collaboration with various organisations that share the same vision.

The debut event will be “SmART City by Children”, joining hands with CreativeKids, an acclaimed creative art studio in Hong Kong that advocates the promotion of a Design Thinking mindset to the young generation. Participants will get to know our children’s version of SmART City that goes beyond technology with a focus on human needs. This art and design project empowers children and teenagers to be future change-makers, and build a more sustainable and an inclusive city. The visual expression will be both functional and aesthetic with empathetic considerations, demonstrating the potential design talents of our children. Open to public. Free Admission.
