Supporting Event - Call for Entries for “Promotion and Sale Channel Development of Hong Kong OMB Designer Toys in Mainland”

Hong Kong Society of Illustrators is now organizing HK pavilions in the project “Promotion and Sale Channel Development of Hong Kong OMB Designer Toys in Mainland”, supported by BUD Fund (a dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales) Organisation Support Programme under Trade and Industry Department of HKSAR. Hong Kong Designer Toys Pavilions will be set up in both Beijing Toy Show and Shanghai Toy Show, which are the first-ever held, large scale HK Pavilions featuring local design toys and their designers in Mainland China. 20 designers and their works will be selected to exhibit in the Pavilions. If HKSI receives more than 20 applications, selection will be done by independent vetting panel.

Introduction of Beijing Toy Show and Shanghai Toy Show

The Beijing Toy Show and Shanghai Toy Show will be organized by a Beijing Pop Mart Cultural & Creative Co., Ltd in September and April respectively. Last year, both Toy Shows were supported by nearly a hundred of designer toy artists and brands, attracting over fifty-thousand visitors, displaying more than a thousand of excellent exhibits.
