Asia Social Innovation Award (ASIA) is the first regional social start-up competition inspiring collective action in tackling urban challenges, launched by Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk) in 2008. We believe that purpose-driven innovations can help us solve the most pressing urban social and environmental challenges of our time.

Break Grounds, Build Change, Birth Hope! Asia Social Innovation Award 2020 “New Urban” is now calling for groundbreaking ideas that transform social and environmental challenges into a positive force for urban growth. The 2020 theme “New Urban” invites changemakers from across Asia to redefine urban thinking, lifestyles and ecosystems through purpose-driven, people-centric innovations. Finalists from across Asia will have the opportunity to join a 4-day impact program in Hong Kong including a pitching competition, holistic entrepreneurship development, mentorship, workshops and networking to scale the impact of purpose-driven, people centric innovations.
