Project Name: Curatorial, Content Development, Project & Event Management, Event Design & Production, and PR & Marketing Services for #ddHK (Design District Hong Kong) “Creative Tourism Event (Fashion)” (Event) in Sham Shui Po 2020/21

Design District Hong Kong (#ddHK) organised by Hong Kong Design Centre is a creative tourism project that aims to offer an authentic experience to tourists, blending HK’s creativity with the rich history and genuine culture of local communities.

#ddHK “Creative Tourism Event (Fashion)” Event in Sham Shui Po 2020/21

Sham Shui Po, a well-known textiles and manufacturing centre in Hong Kong since the 50s & 60s, boasts a rich historical background, interesting city landscape, and an affordable range of products and eateries popular with designers, craftsmen and Hong Kong visitors alike.

Under the #ddHK 2020/21 theme “trans-Form”, we are planning to launch a series of creative tourism programmes, including but not limited to fashion presentation, weekend market/pop-up, performance, workshop, public engagement activities, apps, designer products and special merchandises, etc., to bring Sham Shui Po back on the stage as the inspirational heart of creativity and fashion design.

We are looking to appoint a passionate and professional team to carry out the curatorship (working closely with HKDC as the event curator) for the #ddHK Creative Tourism Event (Fashion) at Sham Shui Po 2020/21. The team will be responsible for providing the creative & artistic direction; developing programme & content; public engagement; project and event management, design and production; managing designers and artists; creating outfit collection/products; and PR & marketing.
