The Roles:
Working closely with the Programme Director and Senior Manager of Event and Marketing team for HKDC’s flagship programme – Business of Design Week (BODW) and bodw+ (all-in-one digital design platform);
Proactively plan, develop and implement data-driven content marketing strategies to elevate BODW across digital and traditional media channels;
Lead cross-platform campaigns (social media, email, web, PR, and events) to drive audience growth, engagement, and conversion;
Work closely with digital agencies and TV broadcasters and establish productive relations with external parties across public and private sectors, including sponsors, media, PR agencies and business partners within and outside Hong Kong, and Greater Bay Area;
Undertake effective project management, including budgetary control, timely reporting, compliance with corporate governance policies, assessment of outcomes and impact of the related activities;
Monitor global trends, competitor strategies, and industry best practices to ensure HKDC remains at the forefront of design and innovation discourse;
Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, HubSpot, etc.) to track, optimize, and report on campaign performance;
React, review and improve marketing performance consistently and rapidly;
Able to develop good content strategy for diverse audiences and platform;
Manage CRM strategies to enhance audience retention and engagement; &
Perform ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
University degree or above;
At least 8 years of relevant experience in which minimum 3 years at supervisory level with good mentoring skills; Experience in design agencies or media is preferred and experience in China Marketing is a plus;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese (including Putonghua);
Highly analytical with a strong knowledge of online advertising platforms and analytics tools including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Hubspot, and WeChat Official Accounts Platform;
Excellent content strategy and writing skills in both English and Chinese;
Good project management in International, HK and Mainland China Marketing;
Strong CRM management skill; Experience in media buying will be useful;
Able to build networking and partnership in Hong Kong and Mainland China especially Greater Bay Area;
Able to work independently to deliver under tight time schedule and work effectively in a team-oriented environment; &
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
