With the mission to enhance public awareness and interest in design, HKDC Library was inaugurated since 30 June 2008. Operated by Hong Kong Design Centre, over 900 design publications and more than 80 titles of international design magazines are available to general public and design professionals in a newly furnished reading environment. A "Hong Kong Design Section" is devised and contains local designer monographs and design publications. With Hong Kong as a design hub in Asia, the Library is also complete with the "Asian Design Magazine" Section with vast collections of design magazines sourced from various Asian countries including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea. As a reference library, we target to build up the design book collection in light of reader's taste and interest. The book collection can be browsed at www.librarything.com/catalog/HKDCLibrary.

The HKDC library is conveniently located on the 2/F, Innocentre, 72 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong, close to the MTR station. The opening hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday (Saturday Lunch Hour: 2-3pm), HKDC Library will be closed on HK Government General Holidays.
