I am a freelance illustrator originally from the USA, now living in Hong Kong. I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art & Design in Georgia. Brooklyn, NY was my home from 2006 to 2012. While there, I worked at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and soaked in the contrasts and culture of New York City.

My work is primarily vector-based and focuses on people, animals, and nature (perhaps influenced by my undergraduate degree in Biology). My editorial clients include the Guardian newspaper, Utne magazine, and others. In 2012, James Madison University commissioned a three-story mural of DNA, plants, birds, mammals, and other organisms, which was recently installed in their new Sciences building.

Although I enjoy sketching with pencil and ink, as well as painting with acrylic, I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. Please contact me for editorial, book, mural, education, and other illustration assignments.
