Michele De Lucchi
Michele De Lucchi is an expert in communicating corporate values through design. As Director of Design at Olivetti from 1992 to 2002, De Lucchi developed personal theories on the evolution of the workplace, as well as experimental projects for Compaq Computers, Philips, Siemens and Vitra. His architectural designs have focused on office buildings including NTT in Japan, Novartis in Switzerland and Enel and Piaggio in Italy.

Kiki van Eijk
Kiki van Eijk was born in 1978 and graduated Cum Laude in 2000 at Design Academy Eindhoven. She got known by her famous “Kiki Carpet”. Now she’s mainly working on her own collection which is presented worldwide in galleries and museums. Besides her own collection she works on projects for companies and institutions such as studio Edelkoort Paris, Design Academy Eindhoven, HAANS, MOOOI, Ahrend, Royal Leerdam, Lebesque, City of Eindhoven, Verardo, Wooninc., Forbo flooring and many more.

Chiaki Murata
Besides working on product design, Chiaki Murata was also involved in the backbone concept of new projects such as single domestic appliances. Murata established Hers Experimental Design Laboratory, Inc. in 1986, and created many ground-breaking products in a wide range of products, graphics, and interface designs. Through constant experimentation, he proposed the virtual industry system, which links each process of product development to an industry that specialises in that field.

Robert Holdway
Robert Holdway is a research fellow at the Royal College of Art, department of industrial design engineering. He is co-founder of giraffe, a unique form of management consultancy giving advice on strategy, product development, and innovation. Holdway’s design and management experience includes work with Philips Corporate Design (Eindhoven), Rover Group, RM Consulting (Royal Mail), Unilever, and Cranfield University School of Management. He is also a visiting lecturer on design for Brunel University, UK.

John Heskett
John Heskett is Chair Professor at the School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Previously, he was Professor of Design at the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he taught design theory and history. He is the author of Industrial Design (1980), widely used as a basic textbook on design courses in many countries and subsequently translated into several languages; and numerous others. His most recent book is Toothpicks and Logos: Design in Everyday Life, is published by Oxford University Press.
   
Andreas Schupp
An industrial design graduate of Germany's Darmstadt Polytechnic University, Andreas Schupp is a Design Director at Lenovo Group, Innovation Design Center, where he is responsible for the establishment and management of the IDC Hong Kong office. This role includes strategic design, design research and management of projects in the categories of Mobile Internet devices and Ultra Mobile PCs. Prior to assuming his current position, Schupp was a Senior Design Manager with Philips Design Hong Kong from 1998 to 2008. He has also been a lead consultant for External Market clients where he worked on diverse projects for Top 10 MNCs.

Michael Young
Reputed from the outset of his career as one of the most influential designers of his generation, Michael Young’s designs greatly mirrors the essence of contemporary design – it is bold, eclectic, daring and extremely varied. His clients have included Galley Kreo, Danese, Artemide, Cappellini, Sawaya & Moroni, Rosenthal and Swedese and Astro bar. Manfred Wang
Manfred Wang is the Chief Design Officer of both BenQ Group and Qisda Group. He joined BenQ Corporation and established the Lifestyle Design Center in 2002. A graduate from State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart, Germany in 1994, Wang joined the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan and worked as project leader of Conceptual Product Design. Prior to his role at BenQ, Wang was the Design Director of Acer Brand Operation, in charge of all branding and design strategies.

Fumikazu Masuda
Fumikazu Masuda’s began his design career servicing major Japanese industries, including electric and electronic home appliances, audio equipments, automobiles and other products. The latter half has been dedicated towards local SMEs. Since the early 90's, he has collaborated with o2, a worldwide group of environmentally conscious designers. Besides working on research projects about eco-design, Masuda is preoccupied with infusing "design for sustainability" as part of his practical daily efforts.

Rem D. Koolhaas
Nephew of architecture mastermind Rem Koolhaas. this Dutch designer launched United Nude in 2003 with Galahad JD Clark. Nude is a branding and design company that serves as a creative force and hub for interaction between architects, fashion designers, magazine editors and photographers. The products are about clear concept, elegance and new ideas where they often collaborate with other brands such as K-Swiss to create the first dual-branded United Nude+K-Swiss shoe.

Paul Eilbracht
Paul Eilbracht started his small design firm in 1990 and focused on sustainable design and product design. His work has ranged from research projects in energy consumption and development of new renewable wood-like materials to various projects on bio materials, sustainable tourism and sustainable technical solutions. Eilbracht has developed several bio composites under the name of Treeplast. As Chairman of O2, he is committed to promoting sustainable design to designers, industrial companies and governments. Lo Chi Wing
Lo Chi Wing is an architect whose furniture designs have shaped the direction of Giorgetti since 1996. His aspiration for timelessness has brought his collections to worldwide attention, and much of his work remains greatly sought after. He has an inclination and the spontaneity to transcend simple form to achieve the poetic. These sensibilities are manifested in all his works: an ossuary in Arcadia, a villa by the Bosporus, a tower house in Athens, the Giorgetti Pavilion in Milan, and numerous others.
   
Sean Chiles
Born in London in 1960, Sean Chiles is a fashion design graduate from Central St. Martin’s School of Art in London. He has worked for numerous leading business and fashion names (Conran Design Group, the Burton Group, Debenhams, LC Waikiki, Bossa, Madura Garments, Tommy Nutter, IPC Magazines). Chiles also holds much experience in fashion education and external assessment at diploma, degree and masters level. His business, Concept Innovation Ltd., develops intellectual property, concept, design, strategy, recruitment, and licensing for a variety of global commercial clients and not for profit organisations.
   
Alan Yip
Alan Yip graduated with Bachelor of Arts in industrial design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1987. After winning a working scholarship in 1986, he joined Frog Design Inc. in California, USA. In 1988, Alan joined Philips Netherlands and worked at Philips Design in Eindhoven for 2 years. Enticed by the challenge of upgrading product design standards in Hong Kong and China, Yip decided to return to Hong Kong and founded Yip Design in 1990. Throughout the years, over 1000 products, which cover a wide range of categories for numerous trans-national clients, have been designed and launched.

Joost van Bleiswijk
Joost van Bleiswijk was born in Delft, 1976. He graduated in 2001 and got lots of reviews with his “outlines” series. He’s mainly working on his own collection in which “no glue no screw” has become a major part since 4 years. Every year it becomes more complicated, interesting and architectural.

Next to his own collection he works for companies such as Ahrend, Bruut furniture, city of Eindhoven, design connection, Lebesque etc. His work is sold and exhibited through galleries worldwide. Publications such as wallpaper, vogue, elle deco, financial times, etc.
