Michele
De Lucchi
Michele De Lucchi is an expert in communicating corporate
values through design. As Director of Design at Olivetti
from 1992 to 2002, De Lucchi developed personal theories
on the evolution of the workplace, as well as experimental
projects for Compaq Computers, Philips, Siemens and
Vitra. His architectural designs have focused on office
buildings including NTT in Japan, Novartis in Switzerland
and Enel and Piaggio in Italy.

Kiki van Eijk
Kiki van Eijk was born in 1978 and graduated Cum Laude
in 2000 at Design Academy Eindhoven. She got known by
her famous “Kiki Carpet”. Now she’s mainly working on

Chiaki
Murata
Besides working on product design, Chiaki Murata was also
involved in the backbone concept of new projects such
as single domestic appliances. Murata established Hers
Experimental Design Laboratory, Inc. in 1986, and created
many ground-breaking products in a wide range of products,
graphics, and interface designs. Through constant experimentation,
he proposed the virtual industry system, which links each
process of product development to an industry that specialises

Robert
Holdway
Robert Holdway is a research fellow at the Royal College
of Art, department of industrial design engineering. He
is co-founder of giraffe, a unique form of management
consultancy giving advice on strategy, product development,
and innovation. Holdway’s design and management experience
includes work with Philips Corporate Design (Eindhoven),
Rover Group, RM Consulting (Royal Mail), Unilever, and
Cranfield University School of Management. He is also

Heskett
John Heskett is Chair Professor at the School of Design,
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Previously, he was
Professor of Design at the Institute of Design, Illinois
Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he taught design
theory and history. He is the author of Industrial Design
(1980), widely used as a basic textbook on design courses
in many countries and subsequently translated into several

University, Andreas Schupp is a Design Director at Lenovo
Group, Innovation Design Center, where he is responsible

Wing
Lo Chi Wing is an architect whose furniture designs have

graduate from Central St. Martin’s School of Art in London.

Yip
Alan Yip graduated with Bachelor of Arts in industrial
design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1987.
After winning a working scholarship in 1986, he joined
Frog Design Inc. in California, USA. In 1988, Alan joined
Philips Netherlands and worked at Philips Design in Eindhoven
for 2 years. Enticed by the challenge of upgrading product
design standards in Hong Kong and China, Yip decided to
