2006, Reinventing with Design (ReD) is a strategic platform
that helps local industries and designers stay ahead of shifting
demands through an intense programme. ReD comprises conference,
seminars, workshops, forums, and networking luncheon.

adversely from the global recession, the Chinese economy, in
contrast, remains poised for considerable growth. In the past,
many Hong Kong businesses have reaped success by leveraging
the Pearl River Delta’s (PRD) enormous manufacturing capacity
to create low end products for regional and global consumers.
However, this overly simplistic approach will prove unfit for
